Sigma Alpha Iota Philanthropies, Inc., was created in 1974 as a tax-exempt, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. It is the charitable arm of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity. Its mission is to promote all aspects of music creation, performance, and scholarship as well as encourage service for and through music on the campus, in the community, in the nation, and throughout the world.

Ann Kellogg Scholarship
The Ann Kellogg scholarship is a performance grant applied towards the tuition of a University of Miami Sigma Chi member with exceptional musical skills, goals, and philosophy.
Frankie Williamson Scholarship
The Mary Frances Williamson scholarship is awarded annually to a member of the SAI Sigma Chi Chapter at the University of Miami or the Lambda Omicron Chapter at Florida International University who demonstrates musicianship, desires to pursue a career in music, and best fulfills the purpose of Sigma Alpha Iota.
Mary Davies Merit Award
The Mary Davies Merit Award is a service grant in the amount of $300.00 given to an active SAI member from each college chapter (if there is a qualified applicant) who is in good standing with a minimum 3.0 gpa.
